Am I a sheep?
I’d rather be a goat than follow blindly into destiny
I’d rather be a horse to laugh out loud for minutes flat
I’d rather be an owl because I’d see right through the intrigue
And I’d rather be a bloodhound that has treed a savage cat
But if I had to be a sheep, I’d find a proper leader
Who walks a safe and narrow path where danger seldom goes
I’d hope the shepherd finds for me a warm and comfy stable
And I’d always try to help my friends to overcome their foes
You can always tell the shepherd for his flock is close behind him
The butcher drives the flock, you can see it in their eyes
The Judas goat comes out unscathed from abattoirs so grimy
But the poor old sheep go further on to pasture in the skies
So the moral friends is know the score
You cannot always tell
If you follow leaders blindly
They can lead you into hell!
